Aiden is 26 months on Christmas Eve
It’s Christmas Eve and Aiden is now 26 months old. It’s been a very busy month for us: Christmas planning & events, a huge learning spurt and a spattering of visits to the ER – 3 for Aiden and one for me! Crazy! I can’t say it’s been an easy month, particularly the last couple of weeks, but it still amazes me to watch how much Aiden changes day to day.
- Shoe size: 6
- Favourite foods include: roasted chicken, bagels with cream cheese, peanut butter toast, pineapple, yogurt drinks, hot chocolate, cookies, granola bars
- Can speak in full sentences, though he may be missing a few connecting words. Has an astounding ability to use words like “just” and “too” correctly.
- Can ask questions
- Spent most of his free time reading. “Read this Mommy! Again!”
- Aiden loves to say: Oh my gosh, Aiden heard it, noising [noisy], What is it? What’s that?, Where is it?, Oh no!!, Aiden want it
- Phrases of Aiden’s I love: Bless you Mommy, listen!, what’s that those? [when more than one], Aiden yikes [likes] it
May your Christmas be filled with joys and squeals of “Oh My Gosh” – I know ours will!
Merry Christmas! Hopefully there are no more ER trips for a long time! Jackson just turned 2 yesterday, and his most used phrase is "all by self." The mental development and growth is astounding at this age!!
Ah yes, we have “Aiden do it” or “Aiden did it!” in a similar fashion :)
