It’s hard to believe my little baby is no longer a newborn – he’s turning into such a little man! It’s all rushing by so fast! Damien is 2 months and already he has his own distinct personality. Just like Aiden, he’s a social fellow, most mellow when he’s out of the house with a lot to see. Thankfully, we get out a lot!

• Weighs 12lbs
• Had his last supplement bottle at 1 month, 11 days old. Yay breastfeeding success!
• Stopped swaddling at 1 month, 16 days old. He had been 1-arm swaddled for about 5 days since he seemed like he wanted to find a hand and was struggling so hard against the swaddle that he was getting it out anyway (even the Miracle Blanket!)
• Has finally passed his colic phase (his gas caused him a lot of pain)
• Definitely not a great sleeper. Would take 2-4 hours to get him solidly to sleep at night including breastfeeding, sling-wearing, car-driving and general crazy times
• Began drooling and spitting up larger amounts
• Had his first little laugh
• Loves being sung to
• Loves to stand or sit – hates lying down when awake
• Rolled from his back to his side at 1 month, 23 days
• Does ‘ab crunches’ to raise his head when in the sitting position (bath, car seat)
• Began sleep training at 8 weeks, 2 days. More on that later! We have only survived 3 days of it so far ;)
