I have my iPhone loaded up with kids music that I can sing along to with Aiden. In an effort to create some diversity, I downloaded two CDs from They Might Be Giants. The two CDs I have are ‘Here Comes Science‘ and ‘Here Come the ABCs‘,

I didn’t know much about the music, but had heard great things. I tried a few samples of ‘Here Come the ABCs’ and liked how ‘different’ the music was from a lot of what I already had. I’ve enjoyed the songs immensely and the different way they try to teach the alphabet.

The Science CD was one I was drawn to because my husband loves science. I thought it would be a CD he’d enjoy. It has some good science themes, my favorite being ‘What Is a Shooting Star.’

For some non-traditional kids music, these are quite enjoyable!
